About Sai Gon Plant Journal
The mission, editorial principles and bilingual structure behind the Sai Gon Living Herbarium.
A living library for plant enthusiasts
Sai Gon Plant Journal is a Vietnamese–English plant knowledge library within the Sai Gon Ca Canh ecosystem. We build structured profiles covering Vietnamese and scientific names, identification features, light and water needs, growing media, growth, propagation, common problems and practical use in living spaces.
Editorial principles
Every profile has a stable record identifier so its articles, images and translations remain connected. Scientific identity and observable features come before care recommendations. Numerical guidance is used only with a clear context because home conditions, climate, pot size and substrate can change the result.
Images and content
Our content is written for Sai Gon Plant Journal. Illustrations are produced and managed by the SGCC system with an asset identifier, species name, intended role and placement history. They help readers understand a plant in context, but identification should still consider several features rather than one image alone.
Continuous improvement
The library is updated through review cycles. If you notice an incorrect name, image or instruction, please send the article URL and a concise explanation through our Contact page. Evidence-based feedback helps us make every profile more accurate, useful and accessible.
